We awoke to darkened skies, but no rain. The dry ground was a testimony to just how dry the weather has been over the past week. Even the rain from last night wasn't enough to leave any evidence. We felt a drop or two fall and decided to delay breakfast and break camp. After getting everything but the large tent packed away, we gobbled down english muffins and banana bread and continued packing. By 10:15 or so, we were fully packed,

only to discover that Garry's vehicle had a dead battery from all the door opening and air mattress filling. A quick jump with some borrowed jumper cables restored power and we were ready to hit the road. Arlona & the kids stopped by the ranch camp show where the ranch campers demonstrate all the skills they learned during their stay. We opted to forgo the traditional barbecue lunch

and head for Grand Rapids. We stopped at Fuddruckers to eat and continued home.

Exit 101 came soon enough and vacation came to a close. We spent the afternoon airing tents, vacuuming vehicles and starting laundry.

We had a great week. The kids got along great. We enjoyed many fun activities and came away with things to think about. It was a great vacation.
