does seem to do a good job finding results. I personally like the
"highlighted results" feature that opens the target page and
highlights the key words. |
Metacrawler

MetaCrawler differs from other search services in that it does not
maintain any local database. Rather, it relies on the databases of various Web-based
sources. MetaCrawler may send your query to several Web search engines, including Lycos,
Infoseek, WebCrawler, Excite, AltaVista, Thunderstone, LookSmart, The Mining Co., and
Yahoo. |
Ask Jeeves

Ask Jeeves is a question-answering system allowing anyone to ask a
question in plain, simple English without having to use keywords or Boolean search
strings. Jeeves provides a concise list of answers with their exact location instead of an

Screen-it is a great site for reviews for parents. Every movie is
broken down with occurrences of questionable content for children. Beyond that, I've
found their reviews accurate and entertaining. They also review videos and music. |
