Day 2 showed a bit more progress than day 1. They had to level the site. That took the bulk of the time. To install an above ground pool, you must build a channel on the ground. this channel snaps together and sits on patio stones for support. The crew used a laser level to place each of the stones so the entire channel was level. This took all day, partly due to the size of the pool, partly due to the heat and partly due to the rock-hard clay soil.
They also did a bit of digging to start the deep end. Our pool has a two-stage deep end.
